First Endurance is pleased to announce they will be partnering with Team Astana again in 2009. Team Astana will race and train with Optygen, OptygenHP and PreRace and will work with First Endurance on new product development. The first of these new product prototypes will be unveiled to the team at the training camp in Santa Rosa before the Tour of California.

The new Astana Cycling Team is in its second year under the leadership of Johan Bruyneel, the eight-time winning Sports Director of the Tour de France. In Bruyneel’s first year, Team Astana accumulated 35 victories, including the prestigious Grand Tours of Italy and Spain. Johan knows winning the hardest stage race in the world requires the most advanced technology available. “When I became the GM of the Astana Team, it was important that we partnered with those companies that I had a previous relationship with and knew would contribute to our Team’s success. I’m very pleased that First Endurance is part of our family and that we can continue to provide our riders with Optygen and PreRace,” commented Bruyneel.
