Meltzer Wins No. 23 - By 4 Hours!

Posted on 08 April 2008

Los Padres National Forest, Ca -Karl Meltzer absolutely destroyed the competition in the Two Moons Ultra.  On a 100 mile run course that included over 28,000 feet of climbing, Meltzer finished over four hours ahead of his nearest competitor.  “All I can say is OptygenHP rocks!” explains Meltzer following his amazing run. “I wasn’t even breathing running up the hills.  It felt easy.”

Meltzer, who works closely with First Endurance on new product prototypes was testing the new EFS drinks during this race. “I know I love the grape AND fruit punch flavors of EFS because I was craving them all day and as usual they worked great!”  Meltzer finishes all his runs with Ultragen so he can minimize his time-off.  Just two days later Meltzer said he felt recovered and was running again.
