TEAM HIGH ROAD DOMINATES
First Endurance sponsored rider Kanstantin Sivtsov (Team High Road) took the overall win in the 2008 Tour de Georgia after moving into the lead with his solo win on the epic Brasstown Bald climbing stage. Team High Road then took control of the final stage from early on and maintained control for the duration. Team High Road dominated the 2008 Tour de Georgia from start to finish. Greg Henderson won stage 3 and stage 7, wore the yellow jersey for two days and won the sprinter’s jersey. Kanstantin Sivtsov won stage 6 and the overall classification.
Henderson was ecstatic with his blistering sprint, which also solidified his lead in the points classification. For Sivtsov, the win is the biggest result of his career. The 25 year old was very happy to be able to finish off the work of his teammates. ”This is a very important race for me and for my team. My team looked after me today to keep the race together. I am very happy.”
